In my situations, I don't use flash because I prefer natural light, but also
because flash draws attention to me.  I'm trying to be invisible.  A flash
shouts "HERE I AM!!   STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND LOOK AT  ME!!

That's not what I want at all.
