When I was growing up, one helped competitors whom one was trying to beat on race day. One such lent me a radiator to drop into my TR-3 when mine was punctured by a fanbelt bolt in practice. And helped me install it. But that is not what we have seen in international auto racing for many years. Commercialism has introduced a win-at-any-cost paradigm. Not the way my parents raised me nor the way I have practiced law for these many years.
