I enjoy his Indian work immensely, I have a couple of his books too, 
although the little one with the hundreds of portraits gets a bit 
wearing after a while. I don't think you comparing your work to his is 
appropriate, nor do I think taking orders from a school of portraits of 
poor children under the banner of internationalism appropriate. I'm sure 
that if he were given a brief of internationalism he wouldn't work 
within such a limited sphere, Salgado didn't in workers even though he 
portrays indentured and child labour in Rajasthan, he also covers the 
Eastern Bloc, plus the United Kingdom and France.
