[Leica] LTM versus M

I find the LTM camera an acquired taste, like an aged cognac or a  
fine single malt. I hated my first one, a IIIc, and got rid of it  
after a month. After using a SLR for years I just couldn't get used  
to the squinty rangefinder. I didn't use glasses at the time. Thirty  
years later I tried one again. Maybe the appreciation of a fine  
instrument comes with age. I don't know. The M is a fine camera which  
I enjoy using. But the LTM, to me is a jewel which enhances the  
photographic experience. I wear glasses now and for some reason the  
viewfinder doesn't bother me at all. I especially like the petite  
black paint Leica II with a 50mm f3.5 nickel Elmar. It's the ultimate  
pocket camera.  But the IIIf is the most beautiful of all. How do you  
choose?
