[Leica] lens choice?

Disregarding brand and stripe (Leica vs. Canon vs. Nikon vs. Zeiss) if
you had to pick one lens for daily use on your rangefinder and it was
either a 35mm f/2.0 or a 50mm f/1.4 which would it be? (or digital
equivalent for y'all working in 1's and 0's)
I ask since they are both within the "normal" range for rangefinder
shooters and often a question we have to face. I hate carrying a lot of
equipment and refuse to carry redundant equipment of which I consider
the 35 and 50mm lenses I own (excluding my DR Summicron).
Just throwing this out there to see the opinions which will come
through.
