Should I have said, It doesn't make sense for my type of photography to use outdated pro film? Post some pictures of your experimenting, folks. I thawed several rolls of 120 to shoot for fun in my 645, but now have found some of it sadly out of date. I shot about 50 frames with my M8 instead, and even posted a new casual portrait (that sunk without trace!) So I did go shoot. http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/image/104733063 I'm having a printing day instead and continue working on the Leica Users Photo Album book I am editing. Also I have just got my Photoshop CS4 update and am starting to learn the new tools and doing some training on it. Geoff, That's only true if you're both absolutely certain that your imagination and technical skills are capable of planning and executing the best possible image in any circumstance, AND if you're correct in that certainty, such that nothing unexpected could ever benefit you. Fortunately for me, I am absolutely certain I will never reach that level; my problem is that from time to time I drift into acting, and shooting, as though I have. (Usually at that point my own work starts to bore me.) > Every other outcome is worse. May you never lose that kind of certainty. And may I never live long enough to have it. Each to his own. Go shoot.
