Call it gallows humor. I've been hearing similar comments from many  
of my friends for the past ten years.
Yet, when I look back on the volume of analogue work I've done since  
the digital age's coming, it's been staggering. If anything, it's  
freed up monies for personal projects, which have always languished  
in the past.
