Hi Geoff. I have been considering an aftermarket view screen, but have been
put off by the comments on changing the metering. I am glad someone on the
list is actually using a different screen.

What screen do you have? How serious is the metering issue? Is it easy to
replace the screen? It does not look like it is set up to be a home done
job like some cameras.

Aram

I got a Katzeye screen for my D7000 because I want to use it with manual
focus lenses. It makes a large difference in brightness and precision with
the microprism collar and split image. If you were brought up on 1980's
SLRs the world is right again.

Cheers,
Geoff
