Hi Steve,

I have both bodies and prefer the IIIg hands down. The viewfinder is  
much better and has the bright line for 50mm lenses which the IIIf  
does not. However both bodies are fun to use but take some getting  
used to. The important thing to start is to make sure you cut the  
film tongue longer and narrower to prevent film jams at the start.
