JIm,
When I loaded Photoshop on my 1.6 gigherz laptop (your Aspire is 1.4 I
think) I had tremendous problems with Bridge shutting the computetr down
repeatedly. Soon I gave it up and use only my work computer which has over
2.2 ghz I think.

Anyway I attributed the problem to the slow speed of the processor (mine has
2 RAM of memory which is what the Adobe specs call for).

Perhaps it was something else. Are you having no trouble using it on the
Aspire?
