Well Neil the auto-focus on that M9 of yours truly is all its cracked up to
be.

Seriously, I have to say that if I have learned to love from a distance any
specific lens while hanging out with y'all on the LUG, it's the 75
Summicron. It's the only lens I can usually ID in advance of looking to see
what lens is at work, it has, to my eye, such a distinctive look.

I used to have fantasies of fame and glory and sex but now all I fantasize
is standing in a shop in NYC that doesn't exist anymore, but I remember it,
it sold Leica's exclusively I believe, it was a guy's name, and it's still
around on the internet I believe -- I'm standing in that shop and buying,
all at once, an MP, an M9, a Tri-Elmar, a 35 Summicron, and a 75 Summicron.
No further joys are needed. Just to see those pictures for the rest of my
days....

Great picture. And boy is it sharp. I urge everyone to check out the wee
shadows under the raised tires of the bikes. Is everyone in London really
that pink by the way? Or does Adobe know to make Englishmen look that way
when processing from raw?
