Except for the old Hektor, most others (65 Elmar, 90 Elmar, Elmarit and 135 Elmar and Tele-Elmar use a common thread that fits into the same focussing mount (16464) or bellows adapter. There is also another focussing mount (16462) and bellows adapter for the 90 Summicron (old, big version) and 135 Elmarit because it has a larger thread. Those are the main ones. There are also some lenses that were only made for use with the Visoflex, such as the 200's, the 125/2.5 and the 400/5. These three come with their own focussing mount, and are screw thread for the Visoflex I register, so need a OUBIO (also known as 16466) to mount on the Viso II or III. Then there was the 280/4.8 which came in screw thread or M mount with it's own focussing mount, so it might or might not need the OUBIO. The 400 and 560 f/6.8 and f/5.6 lenses were made with mounts for Leica R and for Viso II and III. Beyond that there are lots of less 'mainstream' items that need their own combination of adapters, and special focussing mounts such as the Televid system or Focorapid, and also many more esoteric macro and micro arrangements. I still have many of the components of the Viso/macro/tele offereings of Leica, and have had or used probably over 90% of the components over the years, so feel free to ask if there is something that doesn't seem to make sense about the system. :-) -- * Henning J.
