Hi Jayanand,

Autofocus makes a difference, but the Leica 24/1.4 is also retrofocus,
so they are about even on that issue, although the Nikon lens will
need to be more retrofocus to achieve the greater registration
distance of the F mount.  Leica definitely makes size a greater
priority to match the compact M cameras, but the other effects on
price tags aren't always appreciated.  I agree about the utility of
this lens on a good Nikon dSLR.
