I think it depends on your own reflexes and expectations.  Lots of
people can probably learn to press the button just that fraction of a
second earlier, but I don't seem to be able to do so.  mixing the M8
up with my cameras with faster/shorter lag times (MPs and Nikon DSLRs)
probably doesn't help.
