In my mind, it's no worse than hot dogs or sausage.  For that matter,
chicken mcnuggets and probably lots of other fast food items fit in
that category too.

After eating some wonderful things in China that you didn't want to
know the ingredients of, I say if it tastes good, eat it.  Obviously
don't overdo the scrapple, because it's not the healthiest thing, but
that's probably true for most foods available now.
