Hi Steve,

Yup. I love this lens. I got it from KEH the same day it was posted.
It came with the chrome hood and lens cap, each worth about $200 by
themselves. It was marked as bargain. Sandy would have it as 9++. It
was only made in screw mount from 1943 to 1960. The first 276 lenses
made between 1943 and 1948 were black, now fairly rare. The remaining
4000 were made in chrome between 1949 and 1960 when Leica stopped
producing the IIIg body. It is the only 85mm lens that Leica ever
made. I have been looking for a nice one ever since Rei posted a shot
of one of his kids with one maybe a year ago. ?? (If memory serves me
right).

You can read about the lens here.
