I have only had the Summarex for a few weeks now but I want to keep it on my camera all the time. Not only is the lens in nearly mint condition, the glass is perfect as well. It was made in 1954 and of the most recent design. It is nearly new by Leica standards. It is a lens of many characteristics. It can provide the softness of a women's skin or the sharpness of a rough stone building. By f5.6 it is just as sharp as my 75mm Summilux. The focus is just perfect at every stop and distance and it has none of the back focus issues of the modern fast lenses. It is beautiful. It has become one of my treasures. Thanks for looking. If it ever stops raining I will take some outdoor photos.
