One of my Leica lenses (Elmarit M 90)is tight to turn the focus ring when there is a rear lens cap firmly fitted. I discovered that it sends out a significant burst of air (imported from Solms??) rearwards when you turn the focus to minimum quickly! Really, I'm not making this up. It's probably contributing to global warming as well ;-) Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Mark Rabiner Sent: Tuesday, 4 September 2007 14:40 To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] M8 cleaning mystery ("But English *is* their nativelanguage") > Well, this feels a bit like witchcraft, but I did 20 consecutive cycles of > * blow dust with 10 squeezes of the Rocket > * Spin the brush and brush the sensor once on each side > * Lather, rinse, repeat.
