I also like the developing tradition where we share meals and drinks with the LUG. The Cuban connection is fascinating. My favourite image this week would be Alternate 4 (salmorejo). A simple food picture but pleasing structure and colour. I was sorry to see that the poor Alicante residents can not afford sand for their beach nor enough cloth for their swimming costumes. The highlight of the trip was finding a wonderful Cuban restaurant which served us the best Cuban food we have had since when we lived in Tampa in the late 1980s. But there is also a share of se?oritas and various other stuff.
