Actually, I always printed for the shadows.   :-\   Once the  film edge 
is Zone 0 the highlights might fall into their places? I know there are 
those of us out there who bemoan the loss of traditional methods but  
some benefits do accrue . . I prefer film because I know what it will 
do. Once my Coolscan is warmed up I'm as digital as any proud M8 owner. 
At this point in our image capture methodology film still has a quality 
edge, right? Not only that, I've got 39-year-old negatives which can 
still be printed. And on the subject of printing, I'd not trade my Epson 
for a Focomat V35 and a box of Agfa Brovira 11x14.
