No matter how good you are at hand holding, IBIS gives you the ability to 
do? better job.? Less jitter, more accurate results.

Now who would not want that?

Nikon is the leader in sensor noise suppression.? Leica is not close,? Why 
would they want to fix that situation if the alternative is for users to 
buy much more expensive lenses, with attendant more profit?
