Philippe, I primarily use a Sony A1 in the silent shutter mode. I am well
familiar with the usefulness of IBIS and a silent shutter. I find I can
almost equal the Sony with my M9 using Summilux lenses in terms of
sharpness. Shutter noise is higher but in normal environments no one hears
it but me. I used the M10R monochrome in the Seattle area this fall and
the shutter release is especially wonderful: if the M11 is as good then I
am much poorer as I will be hunting down the APO lenses to go with my new
M. For some reason my best people/street images are taken with M's. Go
figure.
