I just purchased 2 of these Synology drives on ebay.? More are available....

They are 8TB Synology branded, new, 8TB 7200rpm HDD.

If you have a Synology NAS, these drives will automatically update their
bios and fully integrate with the commands internal to the NAS

For the computer literati on the list. I suffered a hard drive failure on
my 5 slot Drobo. Not a problem and have swapped in a replacement drive. I
did change settings to two drive failure mode with a corresponding decrease
in capacity.

My question is what are the better 3.5 inch large capacity drives? I am
currently using 6tb red wolf drives and am contemplating going to 14tb
drives if they have similar reliability probabilities.

Advice and suggestions happily received.
