There is an app for that. PhotoRaw. I think that LR for mobile is more for
slideshow.browsing basic edits of smaller copies of what you have on your
main machine. Take a look at what Smart Preview does for you. Not to
mention processing power. It would be very easy to saturate your iPad
storage with a card or two of raw files.
