Whoa, that's as close to grumpy as I've ever heard from you, the least
grumpy person on the list! :-) Have a beer (or another, if that's the state
of things) :-)

The viewfinder thing is something that seems just so painfully obvious, ie,
a classic Leica M by definition will have somewhat inaccurate framing and
needs your brain and experience to compensate, and you need TTL (with its
disadvantages) and more particularly an EVF to have 100% accuracy. The M240
has both, sort of, so rejoice everyone!

The Leicas aren't my only system as they are not a tool for every job, but
they do one job very well. So I enjoy them for that.

The interview is indeed very interesting, but as it has to do with
envisioning the future, I'll take it with a grain of salt. One time, I think
it was around 2007 or so Dr. Kaufmann said that Leica was set to introduce
24 new lenses within the next 24 months. They were quite active, but nothing
like that. Again, the Leica factory at the Leica Park was supposed to open a
couple of years ago to relieve the congestion at Solms, but we're still
waiting. All understandable, but while senior Leica staff are quite
forthcoming with what they intend and what they think will happen, this
openness (which is quite uncommon in the industry) naturally leads them to
say things which don't come to fruition. Still, interesting to hear them say
the things they do.
