Subject: [Leica] Staying at Machu Picchu

Hey, it's a 1000 foot drop over about 6kM..... or maybe it is 3kM....  Steep
buy not un-doable.....  

I said.. IDEA.... not definitely.....

I will have a Son to amuse...  He once swam across a 3 mile lake ( he was
16), took a canoe around the Na Pali Coast ( the next week),  and in
general, will be bored with Dad's pace......

Maybe I will take the Bus and he can walk...... 

Note that I read the descriptions of walking up to Huyana Picchu.  It does
not sound like my idea of fun at all.....

I think Duane said it wasn't as bad as the walk up...
