The shop have to refine the list based on their experience, how long you intend to keep the PC and how hard you intend to use the PC. For example, there are quite a few i7 variants. RAM is pretty boring these days. Everyone makes SSDs these days with different prices, size, read speed, write speed, built-in cap, and .. and.. Oh, you probably have to tell them the resolution and bit depth you need for your monitors so they will install the right graphic card. Don't take it to Best Buy.
