While you may be correct, they are actually collecting on both the rat's
skin and the batteries. ( and the UV filters)
It is just that I do not need a rat Skin MP, and I do need a battery... and
I do not care to fatten their wallets any more than necessary.

Come on Henning, Leica must make a lot more money on a Himalayan rat skin
covered 50 year anniversary MP Classic than hundreds of batteries :-)
