Apendix D in Erwin Puts original Leica lens Compendium list all the  
code numbers that correspond to the actual focal length.

For the 75 MM
47 = 74.7
50 = 75.0
53 = 75.3
56 = 75.6

The appendix lists the codes for:

Elmar 50mm
Other 50mm
75mm
90mm
135mm
