I'm fairly certain that the "freedom," granted by permit will be granted
(or purchased) by the Murdoch press, so that "freedom" will come to mean
restricted to government approved vendors. Like the "freedom" of the
embedded press we have here where the photographers are selected by the
government and their work edited before we ever see it. Thank heavens for
point and shoots and the internet.
