We sponsor seeing eye dogs in the Netherlands (we started it when we lived there). Every month the organization that trains the puppies takes ?7.50 from our bank account. We get monthly reports on "our" puppy's progress. It takes about 19-20 months before the dog is a full-fledged seeing eye dog.
