Is there some "Enter the Dragon" ultimate test of life in which I, or anyone for that matter, will be forced to deduce what size sensor made what image? What about vintage? Will we have to be able to tell the difference between a Nikon D100, D70 and an Epson RD1? After all, they are incredibly similar. If you're looking for the differences in sensor size through the final image, I'd ask yourself "why?" Because it's absolutely irrelevant.
