My copy of Nikon Scan 4 (Vista) let's me use Digital ICE on Kodachrome
in the 'Fine' mode. Works pretty well but does produce some moire
artifacts. When I use Vuescan I don't see the artifacts in the scans,
at least they're not as apparent to my eye. I'm using the Vuescan
filter in 'Light' mode.
