I sent that before Tina's came,
but anyhow. what I meant was, ya know, you can talk this lens thing to
death.   You just have to try a lens, go out and work with it, maybe make it
the only lens on your camera for a few days.

Yes you will miss some shots, but you'll learn what the lens can do.

Charts and other people's opinions cannot matter to you as much as this kind
of test will.  Now that we have digital, (Assuming that, anyhow, get out
there and really run the lens through the paces.  If you don't like it, set
it aside, and give it a few weeks and go back later and do that again.

Maybe you'll have a change of heart.  I know I sometimes do.  I'm pretty
moody about lenses.

Don't read about them.  Don't ask people their opinion.  Everyone has an
opinion.  Opinions are free.  Trying the lens out is work.  It is worth the
work.  You will love the lens more if you know the lens.

Kinda like a good woman  (or a good man)  what ever blows up your skirt
