I've certainly given film a chance.

40 + years - buying, testing, souping, printing, enlarging, selling,
mixing, dektol, beers, pyro, diafine, microdol, super xx, tri x, plus
x, panatomic x, verichrome, ektachrome, kodachrome, hp 4 and 5,
kodalith, delta everything, portriga, gallerie, RC, chloride,
sulfite, elan, hydroquinone, sulfate, farmers reducer, potassium
ferricyanide, blowing and rubbing, dodging and burning, water bath,
d-23, and much much more are still available in my former dark (now
storage) room.

scanning film - minutes per frame - before I can even begin post
processing the image file which will require significant "spotting" -
no thank you.

for me - if and when I give film another chance
it will be to contact print the film
or put the film in an enlarger
as it was meant to be.

If I need to supply a digital image file to a client
or make a digital print for a customer
it will be from a digitally captured image file.
