Other non-coded lenses do not show a focal length at all in the data file, including the tri elmar at 28mm and 50mm. The only uncoded lenses which show a focal length at all on my M8 are 35mm. Perhaps the only lens uniquely matching the viewframe indexing mechanism at the mechanical 35mm setting is 35mm????
