Subject: [Leica] CV 1.4/40mm and 1.2/35mm on M8 - what is your experience?

I would not say the default code is 35mm. Other non-coded lenses do not show
a focal length at all in the data file, including the tri elmar at 28mm and
50mm. The only uncoded lenses which show a focal length at all on my M8 are
35mm. Perhaps the only lens uniquely matching the viewframe indexing
mechanism at the mechanical 35mm setting is 35mm????
