Hi Bill,
I have been working with her and you are correct, she is a terrific person
and did miracles to get my M8 in for the upgrade (long story). I'm glad to
hear that Gene experienced delays in the return of his lens. That gives me
hope.
Curious though how they can match the lens to the rangefinder without the
rangefinder. Perhaps my reasoning of how the mating is done is not on mark
for the actual process.
I've already emailed Colleen (which she won' get until Monday) and I will
call then too. Just very disconcerting...
Thanks to both you and Gene for the responses; I may get some sleep tonight
because of it :-)
Best,
Bob

Bob,

Colleen at the NJ repair office is a peach and was wonderful when I needed
help. She helped me out of a real jam so ask for her when you call. She is
the voice of Leica as it should be.

Best,

Bill
