Last October Antiquorum (New York and Swiss-based auction company
specializing in timepieces) sold for me an Omega Speedmaster 125
chronometer-chronograph, the 2000 piece ltd production watch made to
commemorate the 125th anniversary of Omega, LNIB with all papers, warranty,
IB, orig sales invoice, that a very close friend, who had bought it new in
Lausanne in 1976 gave me 15 years ago. I never wore it (an intensely heavy,
bulky piece). Fetched $4,000. which I thought astonishing in a very
difficult economy. Net of seller's commission and charge for photo for
catalog, $3,400.
A bit more and I could get a new M8.2 ;-)

Seth

Rob,

Here's a link to a number of articles written by Carlos Perez when he
actively doing this at Timezone.com:

I haven't been too active their in several years.

Lots of Omega and other interesting watch ruminations in several articles.
