Mitch, how will this petition be presented to Leica?
Can you assure this list that the LUG as a whole will not be presented as
sponsoring or supporting your petition? That would only reduce our
credibility with Leica as a group of Leica enthusiasts and supporters, in my
opinion.
Are you responding to anything on this list or have you just duplicated your
postings to the L Camera forum? Seems reasonable that you would talk to us
here if you expect any support.

How are entries sorted or managed? Who makes that decision? Looking at the
list you can see are quite a number of anonymous entries and duplicate
names.
For example after your own initial entry, someone has added your name as a
supporter of a Ricoh camera. I'd be annoyed to read that someone had
misrepresented me.
As you noted there are a number of false entries attributed to names like
Barnack, Zeiss, Gandy, Kobayashi. Those are obviously false but what
correction is possible when someone chooses to use another's name?
Can people remove their entry if they decide they no longer want to be
associated with the list or someone has used their name without permission?
Is it true that a PayPal payment window pops up if an entry is made?
