I need to call them to be sure there is no workaround, but my experience with these kinds of problems is that you are on your own......No one wants to help debug an OS issue.... You forgot to mention.... blunt and PAINFUL! I tried to remove And re-install the Nikon SW, including the driver...... No luck. I just hate lose all the time it takes to do this right! An OS Re-do is a big task..... Physically Replacing the HDD is the easy part....... OTOH, a fresh OS is a big performance boost......
