Subject: [Leica] confession: a conversation with my wife

Brian that made perfect sense for me up until just after:
" She: Dear, I have no idea what to get you for Christmas. Do you need a
lens for your Leica?" ;-)

I confess that my Domke is almost fully stocked too. I also decided that
carrying a body and 5 lenses is overdoing it. Especially when they are heavy
Leicas. Especially on slippery ice.
I used everything but my 75 over the recent trip and about 2000+ frames.
However my 24 is coming and ultimately I'd like to replace my 90 (not
carried) with the new macro one.
But swapping doesn't count as an increase right?
I did just sell my M3.

You could always point Victoria at some fabulous inspiring photo books
instead! Or a Tilley hat?

Cheers
Geoff

I must confess to having had the following conversation with my wife today.

She: Dear, I have no idea what to get you for Christmas. Do you need a lens
for your Leica?

Me: I already have all the lenses I need for my Leica. Besides, they're too
expensive for you. What I really need is to find more time to use the lenses
that I already have.

Gulp. I feel like I've betrayed some ethos somewhere.
