Well actually I was thinking more on the order of a simple controlled experiment/comparison... As you know well, there are thousands of M8 images with nice clean colors , no filters used... I have taken thousands, almost never used a filter...and I have never wished that I had used a filter...because of a ruined photo. (And I own a set...) For sure there are some people that insist on them, and some who don't... yes really, there must be some controlled comparisons, and some conditions where they help a lot, but actually it seems few and far between...
