As I told you in private e-mail, many of my 
camera references are still boxed from my last 
move.  I can find no record from the references 
at hand about this story.  As I stated earlier, 
it has been dismissed by most authorities.  I 
only know that it has been making the rounds for 
years.  You are correct, of course, in pointing 
out that the f/3.5 and f/2.8 versions of both the 
3.5cm Summaron and the 5cm Elmar are of different designs.
