Thank you.  That is what I had meant to say 
yesterday when I spoke of a 1/3 increment.  It is 
1/3 of a stop from f/4 to f/3.5.  The central 
point I was making is that there is a 1/3 stop 
distinction between the European and 
International scales -- which means that there is 
also a 2/3 of a stop difference!
