Bob,

If I can buy a black lens for my black M for 900 EUR, and a chrome  
lens (identical condition etc.) for 890 EUR, I will take the latter.

Why am I dismissive of the "look" issue? Because when I show someone a  
picture, they do not care a hoot whether the lens and body color  
matched. All they care about is the picture.
