Subject: [Leica] M8 question #2: Barcoding lenses
From: grduprey at mchsi.com (grduprey@mchsi.com)

Yes, I have found that my 35 Summilux pre-asph seems to give much better
results with the M8 than it does with a film M. It is not coded and I do
use a UV/IR filter on it. I also have my M8 set for lens recognition and
UV/IR filter for all lenses, I do not change this setting ever.
