These are wonderful, Steve, thanks for posting them.  I'm pretty sure saw
these photos in a book in our local library a few months ago.  So if anybody
wants to have them (plus many more) in print, a bit of Googling would
probably produce the title.

Since we're in a "memory lane" mood, here are some of my Mom's pictures from
1951 or so, 12 years after the pictures Steve posted. Still the original
Kodachrome, ASA 10(!), on a Bolsey B2 RF. I came along two years later.
