Don, your arguments are very logical. The only point to comment as on a
science fiction film, If I was the big boss of a big Company or if I can
influence the international markets I would promote the marketing idea about
digital is clean, cheap, and not contaminant

Saludos cordiales
Luis

Frank,Individual choice is what drove my family here almost 400 years ago.
No problem. But you would not need a new computer or lenses but may need a
new printer. Or not, many retailers now have an Epson 4800-7800 on premises
so prints can be done elsewhere.

Film is just going to get more expensive and processing more cult like
unless you do your own. Chemicals will be harder to find as the safety
Nazi's continue to insist that Dektol is dangerous and requires special
handling. On the bonus side there are some great film cameras out there for
next to nothing; I picked up a very clean Canon 7 with 35 F2, 50 1.4, 100 F2
and 135 3.5 all late black lenses for $300. At those prices I will still
use some film.
