Hey Jim I LIKE lighthouses and seashores but now on principle I won't be
able to send these this year ;-{ I do promise to keep only showing photos
made with all Leica equipment though. For the rest, I think free choice
without guidelines has made for a fascinating selection in the two books so
far.
That's great news on the royalty cheque, and a credit to your efforts on our
behalf.
Cheers
Geoff

Today I rec'd a check covering our sales royalties for the 2007 LUG
Yearbook.

As you may recall, when we created this past yearbook I added $5 to the base
cost for Project HOME, an organization in Philadelphia that assists homeless
individuals with housing, health care, and vocational training. More about
this organization at http://www.projecthome.org/

At any rate, the yearbook raised $552.10 in royalties, as of the quarterly
check. Blurb.com sends royalty checks as long as the figure exceeds $25 for
the quarter.

If you would like to acquire (or preview) the 2007

A reminder: a sixth of the year has passed. Take pictures--I'll be
haranguing everyone for 2008 Yearbook images in a mere nine months. A brief
overview of the rules:
Two images per contributor
Image files must be at least one meg jpgs.
While Leica use is encouraged, any camera will do for the image.
Every contributor gets a caption.
Images can be whatever you want. However, from a personal standpoint if
there's some photo clinic somewhere where everyone is shooting lighthouses
and seashores, you can almost bet that there will be multiple shots of
lighthouses and seashores in the book.

Best,
Jim Shulman
