BTW, what monitor are you using? My situation is that I want to get a new monitor (using a 19" lacie and would like a larger one) and to get the 30" Apple, I would need to upgrade the video card (currently using a dual 2 gig g5 w/5.5 gigs of ram) so I am thinking about just getting a 24" Imac or a new tower. An Imac would certainly be cheaper but 1) have always been wary of all in 1's and 2) I think the Imac screen is, not sure how to say this, deceptive. Like my laptop, it seems to make things look much better than they really are. Just not sure if I should do it now or wait for the next generation of tower.
